 The Editor is fast approaching this exciting milestone. I have survived the roaring forties and am discovering that while 50 sounds like I'm getting on, I really believe like it's just starting. Some of those difficult early puzzles of life are becoming clearer and quite fulfilling.
This section is not designed to date us but to look at options and impacts that may take an important bearing in our future lives/years. I in fact still can relate and want to participate in activities that I find in Kids & Teens and all the Sports activities noted in Family & Community.
For those of us with frail parents this is not a bad starting point. We have identified services such as Meal on Wheels, Home Nursing, Government Roles etc….. as well as identifying well over 110 Nursing homes within our immediate area and a few in surrounding areas, e.g. Strathfield and Belmore.
This is an area that we know can grow and as such our plans, with support from the community, is to see this expanded. Please let us know what you may wish to see in this section and if we can afford to do it then we will give it our best shot.
